1950s Lace & Silk Parnes Feinstein Dress designer-balenciaga Item #DS040This is a lovely and feminine little strapless dress in a pearl or champagne colored silk with pretty lace details. There was no label in the dress but luckily the matching fabric belt was stamped with its Parnes Feinstein label so the designer of the dress is known. The Feinstein label began in 1948 and I suspect that this dress was made just a few years into that, perhaps in the early fifties. You can see the influence of both the 40s and the "New
