Because when you oversize your fan you may interfere with the standard overflow tank placement. This 1. 3 pint solution mounts between the upper ear and lower bracket and fully utilized the shape of the shell to maximize the volume of coolant. Please designate which side of the radiator e. g. driver or passenger when ordering.
