I began photographing patches of water and became intrigued by the variety of shapes lines and colours

especially curtains and corrugated materials

So I created this image from the imagery I had access to and from an imagined ideal of what Egypt may have been like

I began photographing patches of water and became intrigued by the variety of shapes lines and colours. This produced a series of paintings and, while occasionally I still go back to this theme, if Id had the dedication of someone like Bridget Riley this could have been the work of a lifetime.
