Château Ducru-Beaucaillou, Madame De Beaucaillou, 2020 Macabeo with notes of stone fruitThis superb Haut Medoc has been made in homage to all of the women who had a hand in bringing Ducru Beaucaillou to fame over the years. The 2020 vintage is mainly Merlot with good dollops of Cabernet Sauvignon and a hint of Petit Verdot. It has a really bright crimson colour, a bouquet of red and black fruits with cherries dominant together with some hints of spice. In the mouth it is fresh, clean and charming with ripe, silky tannins. A terrific wine
