The platter features a colorful arrangement of wildflowers and grasses where a large swallowtail butterfly and red ladybug light amidst the stems. The underside of the stand bears the W. T. Copeland of Stoke on Trent England maker's mark indicating the date of the piece to be between 1851 and 1885. There
