Ohi Chozaemon X Hijiri Glaze Plate sen no rikyu ornament The chago in this listingThis listing is for a splendid Ohi ware plate made by master potter, Ohi Chozaemon X. It is wheel thrown and coated in glossy hijiri caramel coloured glaze with a kushigaki comb pattern around the outer edge of the plate. Small pieces of clay churned up by the combing tool can be seen through the glaze, and the centre of the plate is incised with two birds. Chozaemons stamp can be found on the bottom, and it comes with its original signed wooden
