Looking Out crate Lights at YarravilleA weathered window frame in the Ogurawa settlement opens onto the dense mountain forest pressing in from the upper Nakatsugawa valley. The Ogurawa settlement was built by Nitchitsu Co. Ltd. to house the workforce of Chichibu Mine, once the only significant metal mine in Saitama Prefecture. The last permanent resident left in September 2006. Part of the Nichitsu Mining Village series.
