The oak frame has a wonderful honey hue and is strapped in silvered brackets complete with working lock and key and carrying handle

Probably from the desk of a senior position within ICI Metals of Birmingham, this silvered set, topped with 'rampant' lions as handles are both striking and ornamental. The inkwell lid hinges open and features the original glass sleeve. Both are in good antique condition.
