Eye Way I ARTISTS_Bert Long anonymous figures and inherited signsFrom the Artist My print has oval shapes that suggest eyes. When placed side by side they look like faces or a mask. The old saying Eyes are the doorway to the soul is present in the piece. The eyes are the reason why I titled the piece Eyeways. Also, the negative spaces become important positive shapes. The overlay of color gives some of the shapes a feeling of depth. The tones of blue are inspired from the blue feathers found in Africa. From
