As we left the calm water of the protected fjords we encountered a couple of icebergs on their own

I zoomed in on this waterfall to capture the detail of the waterfall and then slightly moved the camera a little bit during the long exposure

One of those locations was Elitch Gardens which brought out a crowd to Diamond Hill and other areas near the park

Mendenhall Lake and Glacier Presentation:Matted As we left the calmMendenhall Glacier is located north of downtown Juneau in an area referred to as the valley. As the glacier slowly recedes the lake is forming and started to do so in 1931. If you follow the glacier up it will run into the Juneau Ice Field which is currently the 5th largest in North America.
