Yooper Stone Sterling Silver Ring fordite jewelry set silver We prefer modern fordite asI cut the stone in this ring from a piece of yooper sodalite (sodalite in syenite) that we found in the UP of Michigan on the south shore of Lake Superior. It's a beautiful stone with a dalmatian like pattern. This is a large stone but it's really comfortable with the thick silver band I made for it. This ring is all solid sterling silver. I hand forged and formed both the band and the base of the setting for this ring in recycled sterling silver. I
