A couple of years ago I headed to City Park to capture the morning light in the park

Using a zoom lens I was able to capture the color of the leaves but also the interesting trunk and branches which was one of the elements which drew my interest

This year a few other photographers were also at the vantage point commonly used to capture the skyline of the Mile High City

This has led to the growth of the city vertically providing a skyline which has continued to grow over the years. Looking west the Rocky Mountains join the skyline in the distance, however as you look east the city also shines for the start of each new day.
