Purple crocus (Print) mothersday Floral art size 21cm xWhen I first set sight on these beautiful little purple crocuses the detail in their beautifully formed petals amazed me, so a close up painting was a must. The mix of lilacs, lavender, violet and purples really made this one a joy to create. I used a paint brush to outline the curved petals before applying detailed layers with my palette knife.
