For all of the pieces of public art within Denver the one piece which gets a lot of discussion

Each year during the Thirty Days project

Due to the location of the park it closes at 5:00 PM

Using a telephoto lens I was able to zoom in close to the beach and waited from the next wave too come onshore giving three distinct variations of color

Morning at Sloans Lake in Denver Presentation:Matted For all of the piecesIn March of 2013 after a Saturday snowstorm I headed to Sloans Lake in Denver to photograph at sunrise. When I got to the lake in below freezing temperatures the steam was rising from the lake. Positioning myself for sunrise I wait to the morning light to pick up more of this steam with the City of Denver in the background from just west of downtown.
