The nose is ethereal: wonderfully sensuous but with an additional uplifting quality. A terrific intensity of very pure red fruit swamps the palate. One can sense the complexity to come but this wine needs time to develop. Even the empty glass afterwards shows an extraordinary aroma of violets, reds fruits, cherry stones and a host of other flavours. One for the very long term.
