My plan was to find a good location with a view of the mountains and then see what the approach pattern was for the evening

Driving home a couple of weeks ago

4 miles around the entire lake and there were plenty of people out enjoying the nice fall day in the area

The area was filled with people sledding on the fresh snow

Winter at Sloans Lake Size:20"x30" My plan was to findTaking advantage of a large snowfall in Denver, I headed to Sloans Lake which is along the western border of Denver. Walking around the lake I noticed this flowing tree and started to photograph it with the lake in the background. I sort of laughed to myself as it does have a little similarity to the image Winter in Washington Park which I have photographed a few times before as well.
