The Merchandise Mart in Lower Downtown opened in 1931 and has an Art Deco style to the building

The former Merchandise Mart in lower downtown Denver has been converted to the Rocky Mountain Warehouse Lofts

Noticing that the wind was blowing out of the south I found myself south of airport to photograph takeoffs

but as I was walking back towards my car I spotted the strong sun on the above image

Union Station During the Holidays Presentation:Matted The Merchandise Mart in LowerAs the renovations were taking place, I headed to Union Station right around Christmas to photograph the light on the Wynkoop side of the building, just after a snow system had moved through the city. While the facade of the building has not changed much over those years the plaza and areas right next to this have changed as the project on the building comes nearer to completion.
