With the backlit sculpture this time of day I opted for the shorter shutter speed which is this image

Unlike other harbors there is access to walk along the dock and get close to some of the vessels

Throughout the park you will find still active mud pots and other types of activity

Mountains through the Clouds Matted:11"x14" With the backlit sculpture thisAs the airplane descended through the clouds it provided an interesting view over the mountains just outside of Boise. As we skimmed through the bottom of the clouds it provided a fog like view of the terrain below. As we moved through the sky I watched for interesting changes in the landscape and started taking some pictures over a small duration of time until we made our way into clear skies and final approach to the airport.
